DESCRIPTION:\n\nInauguration of the educational and outreach centre  DURO
 CERN (Discover the Universe with Romania at CERN) at the Institute  of At
 omic Physics (IFA) headquarters. Centre DUROCERN emerged from the  projec
 t “Discover the Universe with Romania at CERN” funded during  2023-20
 24 by the Ministry of Research\, Innovation and Digitalization  through t
 he CERN-RO Programme managed by IFA. The aim of the centre is  to offer a
  glimpse behind the scenes of the main facilities at CERN in  order to st
 imulate the enthusiasm and interest in science for both  students and the
  general public. It will also present the main  contributions of the Roma
 nian teams at CERN experiments (ALICE\, ATLAS\,  LHCb\, ISOLDE\, n_TOF\, 
 NA62\, NA65\, NP02\, RD50)\, through explanatory  posters\, samples of de
 tectors and associated electronics\, interactive  functional tracking dev
 ices\, movies\, details on the accelerators\,  detectors and electronics 
 principles. The centre will also offer remote access to different laborato
 ries and to CERN main experiments or similar  exhibitions\, and\, last bu
 t not least\, it will unveil at an informational  and educational level\,
  the physics phenomena under investigation.  DUROCERN is addressed to all
  categories of visitors\, from pupils\,  high-school students and teacher
 s\, science policy makers\, and general  public.\n\n \n\n\n\nhttps://ind
